A reference laboratory is being established in Bishkek, which will be located in the National Hospital. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Recall that the day before, the Minister of Health, Damirbek Osmonov, visited the National Hospital and familiarized himself with its operations.
As reported by the chief physician, Bakyt Tologonov, renovation work is currently underway in the building where the laboratory will be located. Their completion is scheduled for the end of April. After that, the necessary equipment will be installed, staff will be trained, and the laboratory will be fully operational.
This project is feasible with the support of the Asian Development Bank and includes the creation of a centralized laboratory base for the city's hospitals. It is expected that the National Hospital will conduct laboratory tests centrally, which will improve the quality of diagnostics and implement unified standards for research work.
The project has been in the implementation stage for a year now.
