- In the Chui region, the volume of industrial production amounted to 355 billion 818 million soms. This was announced on February 18 by the first deputy representative of the president in this region, Sanjar Zhantayev, at a board meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of the region until 2026.

According to the provided data, the index of physical production volume compared to 2024 was 110%, which indicates an increase of 100 billion 243 million soms.

Zhantayev noted that the share of industrial production in the region in the total production volume of the republic reached 44.5% by the end of the reporting period.

The main driver of growth in gross regional product (GRP) was the processing industry.

“In particular, there has been a multiple increase in the production of vehicles, as well as a growth in the food industry of more than 20%. Strong results were also shown by the sectors of electrical equipment and pharmaceuticals, which play an important role in ensuring the domestic market, replacing imports, and creating added value,” the first deputy added.
