
Adylbek Kasymaliev participates in the laying of the capsule for the future project
A project to create a financial and investment territory "Tamchi" will be implemented on Issyk-Kul, as reported by official sources from the Cabinet of Ministers.
At the ceremonial laying of the capsule for the construction of the special zone, the Chairman of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, was present.
In his speech, he emphasized that the "Tamchi" initiative will be an important factor in the economic development of the country and will help to form a new investment climate. The project will combine international investments, financial technologies, IT initiatives, and modern logistics solutions, allowing for the effective use of the region's potential and the application of the best global practices.
“We are creating a platform with clear, stable, and competitive conditions. The SFIT 'Tamchi' will become an international center that attracts capital, cutting-edge technologies, and creates numerous jobs,” added Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Brief information about the "Tamchi" project:
• The construction of office buildings, residential complexes, and tourist facilities with a total area of over 470,000 square meters will be carried out in phases until 2035.
• The territory will be divided into business, logistics, and recreational zones.
• Residents will receive tax exemptions for up to 49 years.
• Free movement of capital, a flexible currency regime, and the possibility of 100% foreign participation are planned.
• An independent international arbitration center operating under the principles of English law will be established on the territory.
• It is expected that by 2035, the tourist flow to the area, which covers more than 100 hectares, will reach 90,000 people per year.
