Speaking at the ceremony, Kasymaliev emphasized that the implementation of "Tamchy" is critically important for the future of Kyrgyzstan's economy. This area should become not only a center for financial flows but also a logistics hub that will connect international trade routes and contribute to the development of new technologies.
The head of the government noted that the project is based on the best global practices, adapted to the conditions of the Issyk-Kul region. The advantage of the new zone will be the creation of a clear and competitive environment for investors.
Briefly about the parameters of the SFIT "Tamchy":
• As part of the project, by 2035, the construction of modern office, residential, and tourist facilities with a total area of over 470,000 square meters is planned, including business, logistics, and recreational zones.
• An international dispute resolution center will be established to protect business interests, operating based on English law.
• Residents of the SFIT will be exempt from taxes for up to 49 years, will be granted the right to free movement of capital and a flexible currency regime, as well as the opportunity to conduct business with 100% foreign participation.
• Infrastructure will be developed on an area of over 100 hectares, with an expected flow of up to 90,000 tourists annually by 2035.
In conclusion of his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev highlighted the macroeconomic achievements of the country, noting that the "Tamchy" project is launched against the backdrop of record economic growth.
