
During a meeting with representatives of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, discussed potential joint projects in the field of infrastructure and investments in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the agency, the discussion focused on the modernization and construction of transportation infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and railways, as well as the development of energy facilities, utility systems, and projects in real estate and comprehensive urban development. Issues related to the implementation of digital and "green" technologies were also raised.
CSCEC representatives shared their international experience, including within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative, and discussed options for cooperation with Kyrgyz partners. In particular, the conversation addressed mechanisms for public-private partnerships, such as PPP, BOT, and EPC.
The CSCEC delegation was headed by Tian Qian, the general director of the infrastructure construction division and chairman of the board of directors of Zhongjiang Infrastructure Construction and Development LLC.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is interested in finding strategic partners for the implementation of infrastructure projects and the introduction of modern technologies, which should contribute to improving the quality of infrastructure.
The first meeting between the parties took place in Beijing during the visit of the Kyrgyz delegation, and the current meeting of CSCEC representatives in Kyrgyzstan is a continuation of previously reached agreements.
As a result of the negotiations, both sides expressed their readiness to develop long-term investment cooperation and to work out specific projects in detail.
