A new batch of specialized heavy mining equipment has arrived at the Togolok gold ore deposit, owned by Kumtor Operating Company JSC.

According to the company, this equipment will be used to implement a range of works for the development of the deposit, which plays a key role in the mining industry of Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, four Shacman brand dump trucks, two Nefaz buses, two front loaders, two bulldozers, excavators, and a motor grader are already ready for operation at the deposit.

In the coming days, the delivery of additional quarry equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, and loaders, is expected.

The company emphasizes that the use of modern equipment will significantly enhance the efficiency of production processes and ensure compliance with safety standards in gold mining. At the same time, the construction of necessary infrastructure facilities and preparation for the start of mining operations continues at the deposit.

Togolok is a gold ore deposit located in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan, at an altitude of about 3,600 to 3,900 meters above sea level. Preliminary estimates suggest that the gold reserves in this deposit may range from 17 to 20 tons. The discovery of the deposit occurred in 1978.
