The project is divided into three lots, and contractors were selected through international tenders:
- lots 1 and 2 - the DEC–SM consortium (China / South Korea);
- lot 3 - Sinohydro Bureau 16 (China).
Achieved Results
During the project implementation, several key stages have been completed:
- field coordination meetings were held with the participation of all contractors and engineering consultants;
- main construction sites were prepared and leveled, including areas for equipment placement, office, and temporary residential infrastructure;
- the concreting of foundations for office and residential buildings of contractors has been completed, creating conditions for the continuous operation of personnel;
- the installation of metal structures for office and residential buildings has begun, including load-bearing elements and roofing structures;
- technical inspections of the water conduit of hydro unit No. 2 and the compensator of hydro unit No. 1 were conducted with the participation of design organizations;
- preparatory work related to the commissioning of the second hydro unit has commenced, ensuring the transition to the main stage of construction and installation work.
