How much does meat cost in Kyrgyzstan and neighboring countries: data from the Antimonopoly Service
At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh held on January 26, the chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jenaly Orozbaev, presented information on the average prices of meat on the bone in various countries.

According to him, the average prices for one kilogram of meat on the bone in different countries are as follows:




During the discussion, he emphasized that despite the lower average salary level in Uzbekistan compared to Kyrgyzstan, meat prices there are significantly higher.

In turn, in Kazakhstan, where the average salary is higher, the cost of meat on the bone is lower than in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Antimonopoly Service, the most affordable prices for meat on the bone are observed in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, while in other EAEU countries — such as Belarus, Armenia, and Russia — the prices are higher. The highest prices are recorded in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
