At a recent meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev highlighted several key factors that contributed to the increase in the state budget, according to information from the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Kasymaliev noted that the economy of Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating positive dynamics. In particular, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) grew from $8.3 billion in 2020 to more than $22.6 billion by 2025.

One of the main factors influencing this growth was the improvement in tax administration. Thus, tax revenues increased fourfold, customs duties increased sixfold, and non-tax revenues grew by 8-9 times.

In addition, there has been an activation of economic activity in sectors such as construction, trade, services, agriculture, and industry. The rising global prices for gold have also had a significant impact on revenues — income from the operation of "Kumtor" amounted to more than $5 billion.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Kasymaliev emphasized the need to implement practical solutions in the field of multimodal transport, digital logistics, and transport infrastructure. He also highlighted the importance of implementing projects in the areas of wind and solar energy, small hydropower plants, and attracting investments in major tourism initiatives.
