In the Sverdlovsk district, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, along with the heads of city services, conducted an inspection focused on the improvement of local markets.
The first place the mayor visited was the "Dordoy" market. Currently, improvement works are underway here. Junushaliev examined the area around the lake and the adjacent road sections, where the construction of a new road is planned, taking into account its expansion.
He also instructed to clear the lake shore of reeds and continue the improvement works. It is specified that over 20 tons of garbage have already been removed from the water body.
To prepare for the road construction, the Sverdlovsk district administration, together with the Municipal Property Management and other organizations, has been instructed to intensify their work. An important aspect is the removal of illegal structures that hinder the implementation of the project.
Additionally, the city administration has mandated the municipal inspection to monitor parking of vehicles in green zones and take necessary measures.
Experts have also been tasked with considering possible locations for the construction of multi-level parking lots on the market premises and eliminating unauthorized structures.
After this, Aibek Junushaliev checked the "Dinar" and "Chynar" markets located in the Alamedin-1 microdistrict.
The mayor instructed the tenant of the "Dinar" market to restore the sidewalks and ensure their accessibility for city residents. The Sverdlovsk akimat has been proposed to explore the possibility of paving the sidewalk and greening the surrounding area.
The Land Use Control Department, together with the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center, must conduct inspections to ensure compliance with sanitary norms and the legality of the placement of structures, as well as begin the demolition of inappropriate buildings.
During his communication with the traders, the mayor emphasized that all works in the markets would be carried out in strict accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of the inspection, Aibek Junushaliev issued a reprimand to the head of the Sverdlovsk district, the head of the Municipal Property Management, and the director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development. The district head must take responsibility for the improvement of the markets and bring them to a proper condition.
