As part of the eco-campaign "Zhasyl-Muras," 25,236 seedlings were planted in 2025 over an area of 39.09 hectares.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Nature, 16,450 seedlings of forest species were planted in state nature parks on 23.79 hectares, while lessees planted 8,786 seedlings on 15.3 hectares.

Protected Natural Area (PNA) is a piece of land or water space that is under special protection by the state to preserve biodiversity, rare species of fauna and flora, as well as unique landscapes and ecosystems.

In such areas, restrictions or bans on economic activities are often imposed, including hunting, logging, construction, and mining. However, scientific research and ecotourism are permitted.

In Kyrgyzstan, several types of PNAs are distinguished:

- State nature reserves — have the highest level of nature protection.

- National parks — provide nature protection and allow tourist activities.

- Wildlife sanctuaries — aimed at protecting specific species of animals, plants, or ecosystems.

- Natural monuments — unique natural objects, such as waterfalls, cliffs, or lakes.
