The main goal of this work is to ensure compliance with phytosanitary standards and eliminate illegal trade.
As part of the visit, Mamirov met with gardeners from the village of Arpasai, who are engaged in seedling cultivation. The meeting discussed measures to stop the illegal trade of seedlings, as well as the need to create a unified cooperative to organize the work of gardeners.
Participants in the meeting were informed about the preferential loans provided by the government, how to utilize leasing for agricultural machinery, and the procedure for obtaining certificates for produced seedlings. Support measures within the framework of the "30+20+10" project aimed at developing production, creating new jobs, and ensuring sustainable agricultural development were also discussed.
Abdumalik Mamirov emphasized during the meeting that phytosanitary safety is crucial for the country's food security. He called for strict adherence to the law, the elimination of smuggling, and the complete cessation of the circulation of uncertified seedlings. Mamirov noted that effective combat against illegal trade is only possible with close cooperation between regulatory authorities and gardeners and farmers.
As a result of the meeting, it was noted that compliance with legislation, the development of quality certified seedling production, and active participation in government programs should become the main priorities for gardeners and farmers.
