Today, February 3, Tatiana Kuznetsova, a deputy of the Bishkek City Council from the faction "Жаңы күч - Новая сила," raised the issue of the necessity of constructing a new ambulance substation on Suerkulova Street, 1/1.

She inquired of Bishkek's vice-mayor Azamat Kadyrov why the project already exists but is not included in the title list. In response, the official explained that the mayor's office does not have a health department, which has been transferred to the Ministry of Health, so funding comes through the republican budget.

"Construction will only begin after funds are allocated by the republic," he added.

To this, Kuznetsova remarked: "But the population has not disappeared; it is waiting. The reference to the transfer of the health department to the ministry is not an excuse. The population has increased, and the city has grown threefold, and such a division does not ensure people's health. Providing accessible medical care is important, and such inaction is incompetent."

"Let's not argue about competence. We will address this issue through the republican budget. We will write to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Construction to include this project in their plans. We have already succeeded in including 20 schools in the list for this year, and work in this direction continues," the vice-mayor responded.

Kuznetsova also touched upon the issue of building institutions for additional education for children in Bishkek. The vice-mayor reported that this year, a station for young technicians is being built with local budget funds, which will open in the summer. The capacity of the music school in the 10th microdistrict has also been increased. Plans include the creation of a multifunctional children's complex on the site of the "Chatyr-Kul" cinema. The construction of a handball school and sports complexes in Maevka, Novopavlovka, and "Kyrgyzstan-1" is nearly complete.

It was previously reported that there are between 40 to 42 round-the-clock ambulance crews operating in Bishkek; however, this number is insufficient given the expanded service area after the administrative-territorial reform. To meet the needs of the population, about 150 crews are necessary, and currently, less than a third of that number is operational.

According to the draft general plan for the development of Bishkek, it is planned to place:
