Bakay Turdugulov emphasized that the implementation of this project will create a modern educational complex with an academic building, dormitory, sports facilities, and a swimming pool, ensuring safe conditions for the education and living of children.
Minister Kendirbaeva noted the importance of the boarding school’s location near medical facilities, which will allow for more effective provision of medical assistance to students.
“The new complex will contribute to creating conditions for inclusive education and the introduction of modern educational technologies, as well as the comprehensive development of children with visual impairments. We have taken into account the opinions of parents and educators, and all their suggestions will be considered. The interests of children remain a priority,” the Ministry of Education added.
Parents of students expressed protest against the relocation of the school from Bishkek to Tash-Dobo. A petition was also created, in which its authors state that moving to a remote area will significantly complicate children's access to the educational institution.
The school, founded in 1939, currently accommodates 220 students from various regions of the country. The institution accepts children aged 6 to 7 years, and education is provided from grades 1 to 11.
The educational process takes into account the specifics of visual impairments and includes both general education and support programs using Braille.
