Adilet Januzakov, the head of the fund, emphasized that the new team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the organization's work, focusing on improving financial discipline and optimizing expenses, as well as on the allocation of funds to priority areas.
“Thanks to the tightening of financial control, the fund was able to recover 56.1 million soms in accounts receivable, including fully repaying loans for projects in Naryn and the village of Tosor. We also optimized costs for IT, communications, and related services, which allowed us to create a more transparent and sustainable management model,” the statement said.
The funds raised will be directed towards the implementation of key infrastructure projects.
“Currently, out of 18 Rest Point network facilities, 11 are operational, while the others are nearing completion. In addition, we have attracted over $4.5 million in grant funding from the World Bank for the construction of three new facilities in the Osh region,” Adilet Januzakov added.
He also noted that the fund's subsidiary, GoBus, provides regular passenger transportation and acts as a logistics partner for major tourism and image-building events. Preparations are currently underway to implement an electronic ticketing system for intercity transportation.
In addition, the fund promotes projects of national significance aimed at attracting investments and creating long-term economic effects. Work is actively underway with investors on the international sports complex project "Tamga-Tosor," with total investments exceeding $100 million. The development of the Baytik Mountain Resort and Chatkal Mountain Resort is also ongoing.
