“We have all witnessed changes in the political situation. Various opinions and questions have been expressed about me. I want to emphasize that I serve not one or two people, but the entire Kyrgyz people and parliament. My commitment to the parliament and the people will remain unchanged. I held the position of speaker of the VII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh and contributed to the adoption of key legislation for the country. The political stability we have achieved contributes to prosperity. Our country has become part of the list of states with a developing economy thanks to the efforts of the team led by Sadyr Japarov and the role of the Kyrgyz parliament. All significant bills and decisions were made here. However, it is important to develop political culture.
To avoid misunderstandings and suspicions, I independently made the decision to leave the position of speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh. It was my choice, and no one pressured me - I am a person of strong character and would not allow that.Stability is a necessary condition for success. The political reforms initiated by the president must be implemented, and we must maintain political stability. Therefore, I made this decision,” he added.
