In Kyrgyzstan, the military prosecutor's office, together with the main investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has initiated a series of investigative and operational measures aimed at investigating the actions of certain former employees of the State National Security Committee (GKNB). The suspicions concern abuse of official powers, as reported in the press release of the state committee.

According to official information, all actions were carried out in accordance with the legislation and in compliance with procedural norms. The leadership of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic was timely notified about the conduct of these activities.

As a result of the investigative actions, appropriate personnel decisions were made.

In an official statement, the GKNB emphasizes that rumors about an alleged conflict between law enforcement agencies have no basis. "Such statements are destructive and aimed at undermining trust in state institutions," the state committee's message highlights.

All law enforcement agencies, including the GKNB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Military Prosecutor's Office, are working in close coordination to ensure national security and stability.

“There are no 'untouchables' in the system of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic. Every employee, regardless of their position, experience, or previous merits, is accountable to the law for their actions,” the GKNB statement notes.

“The state continues to carry out consistent work to strengthen discipline, increase transparency, and combat corruption among public servants. Citizens are urged to rely only on official sources of information,” the statement adds.
