At 'Ata-Beyit', the memory of fallen border guards was honored









Today, February 23, a memorial rally was held at the National Historical and Memorial Complex "Ata-Beyit" in honor of the border guards who died while performing their duties to protect the borders of the Kyrgyz Republic. This event was organized by the Border Service. High-ranking officials participated in this commemorative event, including the Chairman of the State Border Service A.K. Alimbaev, as well as veterans of the border authorities, officers, and personnel of the service.

The ceremony began with participants laying wreaths at the eternal resting places of those who gave their lives for the protection of the borders.

A prayer was held in memory of the fallen defenders, after which all present honored their memory with a moment of silence.

The message notes: "The feat of the border guards who fulfilled their duty at the border will forever remain in the history of Kyrgyzstan and will serve as an example of loyalty to the military oath, courage, and selflessness in serving the Motherland."

Concluding the rally, participants laid flowers at the monument that symbolizes the valor of the border defenders who gave their lives to ensure the safety, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the country.

The event was also attended by reserve captain Sultanbek uulu Mirbek, a recent recipient of the state award "Ata-Meken Batyry" for his displayed heroism and dedication while fulfilling his military duty in dangerous conditions of border protection.

The head of the border service congratulated Mirbek on receiving the high award, expressed gratitude for his courage, and wished him a speedy recovery, emphasizing that the department and his combat comrades are always nearby and ready to provide necessary support.
