As a result of the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, as reported by Meduza, the price of gas in Europe has increased by 50 percent.

This price hike occurred after QatarEnergy, one of the leading producers of liquefied natural gas in the world, temporarily suspended its operations due to attacks from Iran, according to Al Jazeera.

This significant price increase has also affected the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, where wholesale gas prices have risen by nearly 50 percent.

Today, Iranian drones struck a gas facility in Ras Laffan and another facility in Mesaieed.

The conflict between Israel and the U.S. against Iran began on February 28, when massive air and missile strikes were carried out on military facilities and cities in Iran. In response, Tehran attacked Israeli and American bases in various countries in the region. In the first hours of the clashes, several high-ranking Iranian military officials and officials were killed. Following the launch of the military operation "Epic Fury," U.S. President Donald Trump made a statement.

Among the victims of the attacks was Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as about ten high-ranking Iranian officials.
