According to the new regulations, after successfully completing training at a driving school and passing the qualifying exams, citizens will be able to receive a driver's license in just four working days. There is also a provision for expedited issuance of licenses: within three hours or one to two days.
The document specifies clear time frames for each stage of the process: document acceptance considering the queue — 30 minutes, result preparation — 60 minutes, license issuance — 30 minutes.
For online vehicle re-registration, the service will be available within 10 minutes.
For citizens applying through consulates and diplomatic missions, the timeframe for obtaining licenses will be up to 90 days.
Currently, this project is under discussion and will be presented for consideration to the relevant state authorities on April 10. The issue of service costs in the project is still subject to agreement with the Antimonopoly Service.
According to the justification note, the main goal of these innovations is to improve the quality of public services, reduce queues, and create a convenient process for obtaining licenses for both citizens and foreign residents.
