A press briefing dedicated to the implementation of digital technologies in the judicial system of the Kyrgyz Republic took place at the Supreme Court.
The main objective of the event was to present the results of the digital transformation aimed at increasing the transparency and accessibility of justice for citizens.
Among the participants were Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Nurlan Musaev, Supreme Court Judge and Head of the Working Group on Digital Development of the Judicial System Inara Gilyazetdinova, as well as members of the working group, judges of local courts, Advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Court Ruslan Myrzalimov, and Deputy Head of the Supreme Court Apparatus Aman Jumaliev.
Nurlan Musaev, opening the meeting, emphasized the importance of creating a legislative framework to support technological changes.
“A large-scale digital transformation of the judicial system is being carried out in the Kyrgyz Republic. Our goal is to create a modern, technologically advanced, and corruption-resistant justice system. To successfully accomplish these tasks, in addition to technical and personnel training, it is necessary to establish a solid legal foundation. In this regard, amendments were made in 2025 to several existing procedural codes. These amendments not only incorporated digital concepts into the legal framework but also provided parties the opportunity to participate in court proceedings via videoconferencing. Furthermore, the possibility of live broadcasting of court sessions through television, radio, and the internet was legally ensured, and the obligation to use audio and video recording tools in the course of judicial proceedings was established,” he noted.
