During the live broadcast of the program "Elden Sobol" on the "Kabar" agency, Gulzat Totubaeva, head of the population relations department of the State Mortgage Company (GMC), reported that the price of one square meter in the residential complex "Muras" for citizens on the waiting list is 78,705 soms.
She clarified that the GMC offers housing under two schemes. One of them includes renting with the option to buy later. In this case, the citizen joins the waiting list, and when their turn comes, they receive mortgage housing for a period of 25 years at an interest rate of 4% or 8% per annum without the need to make a down payment.
According to Totubaeva, if someone from the waiting list decides to buy a one-bedroom apartment with an area of 40 square meters in the "Muras" residential complex, the total cost will be about 3 million 100 thousand soms, based on the price of 78,705 soms per square meter. If considering payment over 25 years at 4% per annum, the monthly payment will be approximately 16 thousand soms.
Additionally, she noted that for those who previously purchased housing at a price of 650 dollars per square meter, the cost will remain the same and will not be revised.
