Gasification of the population has become one of the main areas of work. According to the Cabinet's order No. 349 dated April 28, 2025, preferential loans of up to 150,000 soms at 3% per annum are provided for connecting households to gas, which is a significant reduction compared to the previous 8%. More than 51,000 households in Bishkek have already gained access to gas, which has allowed for a reduction in coal consumption by approximately 100,000 tons.
Additionally, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' decree No. 639 dated October 6, 2025, the import, sale, storage, and use of bulk coal of the fraction 0–13 mm is prohibited in the Chui region and Bishkek. This restriction does not apply to enterprises producing thermal energy.

The ministry also reported on conducting regular raids to monitor air quality. In 2025, 202 protocols were drawn up for exceeding emission standards by vehicles, resulting in fines totaling more than 3.7 million soms. During inspections of economic entities, 450 protocols were issued for a total of 9.87 million soms, and notifications were sent to 3,795 entities regarding the need to comply with environmental standards.
The agency also noted its role in forming the natural and ecological framework of Bishkek, aimed at improving the quality of life for residents and the overall environmental situation.
