Teachers will work in the regions
The Ministry of Education has announced the start of recruitment for teaching positions under the program "Teach for Kyrgyzstan – Modern Teacher," even for those without pedagogical experience. This was revealed in an official statement from the ministry.
The main goal of this initiative is to support school education in remote regions and to form a new generation of teacher-leaders.
The program is open to people from various professions, including those without a pedagogical education but who show interest in the field of education. Participants will work in schools in small towns and villages for two years while simultaneously developing modern pedagogical and leadership skills.
As part of this program, participants will have the opportunity for free master's degree training, organized in collaboration with the International University of Central Asia. Education will take place in a hybrid format, including both online classes and in-person sessions. Upon completion of the program, graduates will receive a state diploma as well as an international master's diploma.
Participants are guaranteed official employment, scholarships, mentorship from experienced educators, and ongoing methodological support. There will also be opportunities to implement their own educational projects and participate in the international Teach For All network.
Those invited to participate include:
– citizens with higher education;
– candidates willing to work in regional schools for two years;
– ambitious specialists eager to work with children and develop professionally.
Applications will be accepted until May 25, 2026.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov stated in an interview with "Nomad TV" the need to dismiss 15-20% of teachers and attract new specialists.
