The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic met with the permanent representatives of nine countries to the UN


The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held talks in New York with the permanent representatives of nine countries accredited to the United Nations. This meeting was part of the diplomats' visit to the country, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the discussion, Kulubaev spoke about significant socio-economic reforms currently being implemented in Kyrgyzstan. He also shared the successes achieved in this area and announced important international events planned for 2026, including the SCO summit and the VI World Nomad Games. The minister emphasized the importance of the UN for Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy and the initiatives that the country promotes within this organization.

The permanent representatives of Andorra, Gabon, Guyana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Namibia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Chad, and South Sudan noted Kyrgyzstan's substantial contribution to global initiatives related to climate change, the mountain agenda, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, as well as issues of peace and security. They expressed interest in further developing cooperation both multilaterally and bilaterally.

The parties also discussed current issues on the international and regional agenda, including the situation in Central Asia.

During the visit, foreign diplomats were able to visit winter tourist sites, as well as several government institutions to exchange experiences in modern technologies, including the UN House and significant historical and cultural sites of Kyrgyzstan.
