The World Bank called the economic growth indicators of Kyrgyzstan impressive
A recent meeting between Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, and Najy Benhassine, the Regional Director of the World Bank for Central Asia, served as a platform to discuss key issues of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and future of their partnership, discussed key projects in progress, budget support issues, and essential reforms in the legislative sphere.

Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the World Bank for its active participation in the socio-economic transformations occurring in the country and noted that Kyrgyzstan values the trust of the international financial institution, which is ready for an open dialogue to implement best practices in public financial management.

Plans for cooperation in the upcoming year and medium-term prospects were also discussed.

Najy Benhassine, in turn, congratulated the government on its achievements, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan's economic indicators at the regional level are "quite impressive."

He highly appreciated the efforts to improve fiscal policy and noted that the reforms being carried out in the country contribute to creating a favorable economic environment.

“Sustainable economic growth implies the creation of new jobs and an improvement in the living standards of citizens. The World Bank is ready to provide full support in areas of mutual interest,” added Benhassine.
