As part of efforts to improve medical services in the Naryn region, 20 service vehicles have been handed over to healthcare institutions. This event took place with the participation of Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. The press service of the agency reported this.
The vehicles were distributed among the most important medical institutions in the region, including maternity wards and primary healthcare centers. The Naryn Regional Unified Hospital and the At-Bashinsky District Center for General Medical Practice named after B. Shameev received three vehicles each. The same number of vehicles was also handed over to the Ak-Talinsky and Jumgal District Centers for General Medical Practice. The Kochkor District was allocated two vehicles.
Four vehicles were sent to the Naryn Regional Family Medicine Center, which serves the city of Naryn and the surrounding areas, including the Naryn District, Kara-Kuzhur, and Oruk-Tam. The Naryn Regional Tuberculosis Control Center and the Naryn Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination each received one vehicle.
Kamchybek Tashiev, while handing over the vehicles, emphasized the importance of state attention to the healthcare system. He noted that the availability of necessary resources in medical institutions directly affects the quality and speed of assistance provided to the population.
He also added that each vehicle should be used for its intended purpose and contribute to the health protection of citizens, stating that the health of the population is one of the key factors for the sustainable development of the country.
Previously, there was a severe shortage of service vehicles in the Naryn region, which hindered the timely provision of medical assistance, especially in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
