At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 18, Deputy Kunduzbek Sulaymanov thanked President Sadyr Japarov for the new opportunity for citizens to take driving tests after four months of training. "I would like to express my gratitude to the head of state. Previously, I raised the issue of the training period for drivers, and now many people are thankful for the opportunity to take exams in such a short time," he stated.

The deputy added that it is important that a probationary period of one year is provided. He also drew attention to the tragic incident in Kara-Kuldja, where four people died as a result of a traffic accident. "The president is striving to ensure safety for both you and us. I urge you not to abuse the shortened training period, but to study responsibly and adhere to traffic rules," Sulaymanov emphasized.

It is worth reminding that at the beginning of February, the deputy responded to Japarov's remarks about populism among deputies. He noted that they raise the issue of shortening the training period at the request of citizens. "If this is the opinion of the people, is it really populist? I agree that ten months is too long. The president himself said he studied for six months at DOSAAF. And many of those who studied during Soviet times also believe that it is excessive. Some young people are capable of mastering the theory in just a month," he added.
