He noted that they raise the issue of shortening the training period at the request of citizens. "If this is the opinion of the people, is it really populist? I agree that ten months is too long. The president himself said he studied for six months at DOSAAF. And many of those who studied during Soviet times also believe that it is excessive. Some young people are capable of mastering the theory in just a month," he added.
