Today, April 8, it became known that Abdyldabek Egemberdiev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, submitted a request to resign from parliament of his own accord.

We remind you that in the elections held on November 30, 2025, he took second place.

According to preliminary data, the mandate should pass to Ramis Junushaliev, who garnered the support of 4,767 voters. However, on December 24, 2025, information emerged about the detention of Ramis Junushaliev, president of the Kyrgyzstan Kok-Boru Federation, on suspicion of fraud.

In the Central Election Commission, Kaktus.media clarified that since Junushaliev is under investigation, it is necessary to obtain information about the status of the criminal case initiated against him.

The candidacy of Ulan Sariyev, who received 4,746 votes, is also being considered. However, the CEC previously canceled his registration as a candidate for deputy due to allegations of vote buying.

“As soon as we gather all the necessary data, it will become clear who will be the new holder of the mandate,” noted the CEC.
