Proposing to Ban Alcohol Sales After 8:00 PM in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, Majilis deputy Magerram Magerramov proposed the idea of banning the sale of alcohol after 8:00 PM. He noted that it is necessary to tighten control over the trade of alcoholic beverages, as alcohol often becomes the cause of various offenses.

As part of his initiative, the deputy proposed the following measures to the government:


Furthermore, Magerramov emphasized that the ministries of culture and information, health, as well as education should develop a comprehensive program for the prevention of alcoholism among youth and minors, using modern digital and media platforms.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan had previously made similar proposals.
