In official circles in Moscow, there has been a call for the closest allies in the CIS and Central Asia not to succumb to manipulations by so-called "armchair analysts." The importance of trusting only official statements became the topic of a briefing where Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, clarified the situation that arose around discussions on the geopolitics hosted by TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.

Zakharova noted that many commentators deliberately distort the context of the discussion, presenting rhetorical questions as official statements. She emphasized: "I relied not on out-of-context phrases, but on direct speech. This opinion was expressed in the form of a question and did not contain any statements." According to her, manipulations are unacceptable when phrases are presented as the official position of the country.

The diplomat also reminded that Russia's foreign policy towards CIS countries is based on a solid foundation that has been repeatedly confirmed by the country's leadership. "Our relations with the peoples of the South Caucasus and Central Asia have always been linked by good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and brotherhood," she said.

In concluding her comments, Zakharova urged partners to focus on real facts of multilateral cooperation rather than sensational headlines. She emphasized that the true intentions of the state should be assessed by specific actions.

"How many times have we come to help? How often have we shown sincere emotions in joy and sorrow? How many times have we overcome difficulties together? These are the true indicators of our cooperation. There will be many provocations, and it is important not to fall for fakes and forgeries," concluded Maria Zakharova.
