Today, a meeting took place to discuss the opening of the General Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Sochi (Russia). The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the KR, Almaz Imangaziev, and the Consul General of the Russian Federation in the city of Osh, Roman Svistin.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the diplomats considered a wide range of issues related to consular relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
They also discussed aspects of cooperation between the competent authorities of the two countries aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.
As part of the protocol of the meeting, Roman Svistin handed over the original consular patent to Almaz Imangaziev.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties noted the importance of further deepening the partnership and expressed their readiness for active development of cooperation in the consular sphere.
