The Alaman Ulak turned into a dump: organizers fined, cleanup underway
In the Uzgen district, after the mass Alaman Ulak event, significant problems with garbage have been observed. Local authorities have recorded numerous instances of unauthorized waste disposal in the area where the event took place, raising concerns among environmental services.

The Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service has already sent official requests to the village administrations of Bash-Dobo and Tort-Kul, demanding the cleanup of the area and the elimination of the pollution consequences.

Additionally, Janish Niyazov, one of the organizers, was fined 5,500 soms under Article 115/1 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currently, the event organizers, together with local residents and representatives of the authorities, are conducting a cleanup of the area. Their tasks include collecting garbage, removing waste, and restoring the sanitary condition of the site.

The Ministry of Natural Resources has strongly urged the organizers of mass events to comply with environmental standards, noting that such violations harm the environment and have negative consequences for local communities.
