Bekeshev noted that it is important to inform the public about what is happening.
“I am interested in how many employees with nicknames like ‘Lizard’ and ‘Vaseline’ are still working in the GKNB. Will they leave their positions? If they are held accountable, what further steps will be taken? These people have caused significant harm to society. The GKNB has become something like a horror movie, where everyone feared that tomorrow the service employees would come for them. In some cases, this was justified, but at times it was excessive. I would like to know about the future and possible reforms. Perhaps the chairman of the GKNB should hold a press conference to answer citizens' questions,” the deputy addressed GKNB head Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov.
He also questioned the necessity of curators from the GKNB for deputies: “What is the purpose of their presence? We have a presidential representative and a speaker, so all issues can be resolved without public statements. Deputies are not enemies to require curation,” he added.
