As the victim recounted, she posted an advertisement for the sale of sewing machines, and on December 8, 2025, a man contacted her. He took the machines worth 130,000 soms, promising to pay later, but soon disappeared.
This incident was registered as fraud under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement authorities detained the suspect, known as D.u.A., born in 1992, who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, it was revealed that he may be involved in eight similar crimes, and the investigative authorities suspect the existence of other victims.
