Criminal proceedings were initiated regarding this fact under Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to the illegal seizure of land plots and unlawful construction on agricultural land.
Investigative actions revealed that, according to information from the Sokuluk district branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, this plot is not subject to land amnesty and is classified as agricultural.
A suspect in the illegal seizure of a land plot was detained in Sokuluk.
During operational-search activities, the suspect was identified as D. G., born in 1961. She was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
To date, 15 more individuals have approached the Sokuluk district police department with similar complaints. All materials related to these complaints have been registered and are currently under review. The investigation is ongoing.
