As Axios reports, information about the meeting came from U.S. diplomats and officials. Currently, the plans are in the initial stages and may change.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the U.S. Institute of Peace, which was renamed the Donald Trump Institute of Peace in December.

Axios also mentions that the Trump administration views the meeting as a way to advance the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, as well as to seek funding for the reconstruction of the region.

Initially, the "Council of Peace" was created to address issues concerning the future of the Gaza Strip as part of Trump's peace plan. However, now the U.S. president sees this body as an opportunity for conflict resolution in other parts of the world.

According to the charter of the "Council of Peace," Donald Trump holds the position of an unremovable chairman and can only leave this position at his own discretion. Other countries can join the council only by invitation from the U.S. president.

Reports indicate that most key European countries have declined to participate in the "Council of Peace." However, countries such as Israel, Hungary, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan have agreed to accept Trump's invitation.
