According to Khodjazoda, 12,218 directives were issued to address the identified problems, and administrative proceedings were initiated in 11,677 cases. As a result of the inspections, fines totaling over 7 million somoni were imposed, of which 5.9 million have already been deposited into a special account.

Additionally, 1,035 materials were forwarded to the prosecutor's office for further consideration, and 927 were sent to enforcement services, as he noted at a press conference held in Dushanbe on February 10.

Khodjazoda also pointed out that violations of land legislation concern not only private individuals but also employees of the Land Management Committee itself.

In particular, the heads of land management offices in Isfara, Kulob, and the Abdurakhmoni Jomi district were detained.

An investigation is currently underway regarding the head of the Isfara land management office, Muhammad Bobozoda, on suspicion of receiving a bribe. Final conclusions about his culpability will be made only after the court's decision.

Last year, in 2024, the Anti-Corruption Agency of Tajikistan initiated a criminal case against the head of the Kulob land management office. According to the investigation, he promised to allocate a plot of land for agriculture in exchange for 81,000 somoni, but did not fulfill his obligations.

The sale of land plots remains one of the most pressing issues in the country, as repeatedly reported by the President of Tajikistan.

According to Orif Khodjazoda, even employees of land management authorities are not protected from violations, highlighting the need for intensified efforts to combat corruption in this area.
