The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China exchanged detailed opinions on cooperation issues

Sun Weidong noted that China adheres to a foreign policy based on "friendliness, sincerity, mutual benefit, and inclusiveness" towards Mongolia. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.

The meeting took place between Battsereg Batmunkh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Sun Weidong, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, where the parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation opportunities.

Cooperation between the two foreign ministries is of particular importance for the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China. Battsereg emphasized that her country will continue to make efforts to support positive dynamics by implementing agreements reached at the highest level and promoting projects that will benefit the peoples of both countries.

In addition, the minister noted the importance of cooperation based on mutual respect for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, as well as equality and mutual benefit. She also reaffirmed her support for the "One China" policy.

Sun Weidong expressed satisfaction that Mongolia and China are neighbors connected by natural borders and noted that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries is actively developing. He also emphasized the need for further cooperation to successfully address the tasks facing the Strategic Dialogue.

Furthermore, he added that China continues to pursue a foreign policy focused on "friendliness, sincerity, mutual benefit, and inclusiveness" towards Mongolia. He noted that the 15th Five-Year Plan for China's socio-economic development includes goals for jointly achieving quality development within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative, which will create additional opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
