The agreement was reached as a result of a meeting between the president of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Aktoyta Raimkulova, and the Secretary General of TURKPA, Ramil Hasan.
During the discussion, Raimkulova congratulated Hasan on his re-election as Secretary General of TURKPA and shared information about current projects and initiatives that the foundation is implementing under Kyrgyzstan's presidency.
Hasan, in turn, informed the delegation about the assembly's activities, noting the preparations for short-term observation of the constitutional referendum in Kazakhstan scheduled for March 15, 2026. He added that the mission of international observers from TURKPA would participate in monitoring the voting.
The Secretary General also emphasized that the new draft Constitution entails significant changes in Kazakhstan's institutional system, which is important for both the country and the entire Turkic world.
During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in creating model laws related to cultural heritage within the framework of the relevant TURKPA commission were also discussed. Hasan highlighted the role of the assembly as a legislative platform for Turkic cooperation and expressed readiness to support joint initiatives.
The strategic importance of creating an effective legislative framework to strengthen cooperation among Turkic states was also discussed.
Raimkulova invited the TURKPA delegation to participate in the Strategic Conference on Cooperation and the technical seminar on Turkic cultural heritage "Combating the Illegal Trafficking of Cultural Property," which will take place in April in Gaziantep (Turkey).
