During the recently concluded meeting in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the signing of a declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine, involving 35 countries, including Ukraine and the USA. This information was reported by Sky News.

Macron emphasized that this document is the first step towards closer cooperation among coalition participants and the USA, providing "reliable guarantees of long-term peace."

The declaration includes several important security aspects, including the establishment of a monitoring mechanism for ceasefire compliance under the leadership of the USA and with the support of other countries. It also addresses the training and equipping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend against potential new aggression.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that this declaration is a "very concrete" agreement. He stated that Ukraine already has information about which countries will participate and what contributions they will make. Zelensky also mentioned that negotiations with the American delegation in Paris regarding the monitoring of the ceasefire are progressing successfully.
