The sanctions affect 95 individuals and 70 legal entities, the overwhelming majority of which are Russian citizens and residents. The decree to impose these measures was signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and was a result of a decision by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
The list includes enterprises operating in the chemical, metallurgical, and mining industries, as well as companies connected to Russia's fuel and energy complex.
The goal of the imposed restrictions is to complicate the functioning of the Russian military-industrial complex and limit its capabilities in the production of weapons and military equipment used in the conflict with Ukraine, as stated in the official announcement.
