Araghchi noted that nationwide protests currently are "fully controlled" across the country.

According to Iran International, he also stated that Tehran possesses significant evidence pointing to the involvement of the U.S. and Israel in recent terrorist acts on Iranian territory.

The minister emphasized: "We have numerous documents and facts confirming the involvement of the U.S. and Israel in the recent terrorist attacks in the country."

He mentioned comments made by former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who, according to Araghchi, acknowledged that "Mossad agents acted in cooperation with the participants of the riots and coordinated this terrorist movement."

Additionally, Araghchi criticized Western countries for condemning the actions of the Iranian police instead of targeting the terrorists.

Since the end of December, mass protests have continued in Iran, with participants demanding a change in the political regime. According to the human rights organization HRANA, the number of fatalities during the protests has reached at least 544 people. Iranian authorities accuse the U.S. and Israel of organizing the protests.
