In Buryatia, at the "Kyakhta" checkpoint, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Buryatia recorded a violation of quarantine regulations during the export of quarantine goods. This was reported by the agency's management.

On January 13, 2026, a woman from Mongolia attempted to export 75 kg of dried apricots and a mixture of fruits with nuts. However, phytosanitary certificates for this product were not provided, which contradicts part 1 of Article 25 and part 1 of Article 32 of Federal Law No. 206 of July 21, 2014, "On Plant Quarantine," creating a risk of the spread of quarantine organisms.

As a result, a protocol was drawn up in accordance with Article 10.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and the products were returned to Russia for the necessary phytosanitary certificates.
