Trade of Kyrgyzstan with EAEU countries increased by 1.6 times over four years

The volume of trade between the Kyrgyz Republic and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union increased by almost 1.6 times from 2021 to 2024. This information was announced by Perizat Turdukhojeva, a leading specialist in the trade policy department and the World Trade Organization of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, during a radio program.

According to her, during this period, exports doubled, while imports increased by about 50%. In 2024, the share of EAEU countries in Kyrgyzstan's foreign economic activity exceeded 30%, and in exports, this figure reached about 40%. As a result, by the end of 2024, the volume of mutual trade with allied states amounted to **5.5 billion** dollars, which is 20% more than in **2023**.

Exports of goods to EAEU countries amounted to **1.7 billion** dollars, increasing by 20%, while imports reached **3.8 billion** dollars, which is an increase of about 15%.
During the first 11 months of 2025, the volume of mutual trade between Kyrgyzstan and EAEU countries amounted to about **4.9 billion** dollars, which is 1.3% more compared to the same period in 2024. Exports exceeded 1 billion dollars, while imports amounted to **3.9 billion** dollars, increasing by 17.7%.

Turdukhojeva noted that Kyrgyzstan mainly exports dairy products, vegetables and fruits, dried fruits, clothing and accessories, as well as glass products and other consumer goods, including re-exported items, to EAEU countries. Imported goods include petroleum products and raw materials necessary for production, which are either absent or limited in the republic.
