A solar power plant with a total capacity of 105 MW will be built on an area of 200 hectares in the village of Sary-Tash, located in the rural district of Too-Moyun in the Aravan district of the Osh region.
During a working trip to the Aravan district, Amanakan Kenjebaev, the head of the Osh region, familiarized himself with the land allocated for the project and heard from specialists about the progress of its implementation.
The project will be financed through foreign investments, and its total implementation cost will amount to $65 million.
Construction will begin in the spring, with the first phase planning to install solar panels with a total capacity of over 15 MW. The completion of construction, according to the plan, will occur in the second phase, when the station's capacity will reach 105 MW, and about 450,000 solar panels will be installed.
This project will also create 35 permanent jobs for local residents. The head of the region expressed support for the investors' initiative and assured them of the necessary assistance for the successful implementation of the project.
