He reported that there are laboratories in the country capable of performing a complete analysis of seeds and seedlings.
“We have laboratories that are currently operational. Regardless of the type of seeds or seedlings, you can contact us. Specialists will check for diseases, assess their cleanliness, and evaluate their germination capacity. After the analysis, you will receive information on whether they are suitable for planting,” he noted.
The minister added that even in the absence of certificates, it is extremely important to check seeds, as this guarantees their quality and contributes to increased production efficiency.
As an example, he cited a case of a farmer who signed a contract to grow asparagus on an area of 60 hectares for a period of 15 years and is collaborating with an international company. According to him, the success of this project largely depends on the correct choice of high-quality seeds.
