40 new trade and logistics centers will be built in Kyrgyzstan for export

According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, there are currently 40 trade and logistics centers operating in Kyrgyzstan, which either function alongside processing enterprises or operate as independent entities ensuring product exports. At present, there are 483 large and medium-sized processing enterprises in the republic. Most of the centers are equipped with modern warehouses, freezing blocks, as well as facilities for packaging, labeling, certification, and transportation of agricultural products.

The development of the sector will continue: by 2026, the opening of 75 new processing enterprises is planned, among which there will be 8 new trade and logistics centers. In accordance with the development strategy until 2030, the construction of an additional 40 logistics facilities is planned in the republic. The ministry emphasizes that such centers are critically necessary for the effective organization of export-import flows, as well as for the quality storage and distribution of products.

The process of creating modern logistics centers encompasses the entire cycle—from developing business models and constructing high-tech warehouses to implementing information technologies and digital services. A key aspect is automation, the introduction of electronic document management, and training employees according to the KPI system. In the future, it is planned to expand the services of new sites by implementing solutions in the field of e-commerce and blockchain technologies, which will enhance interaction with transport companies and government agencies.
