The Chuy region continues to be an important center of the economy of Kyrgyzstan. Recent data shows that the volume of industrial production in the region amounted to an impressive 355.8 billion soms. This information was presented at a meeting between the Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Artem Novikov, and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Chuy region, Azamat Osmonov, where key results and development plans for the region were discussed.

Azamat Osmonov noted that the gross regional product of the Chuy region reached 205 billion soms, which corresponds to a growth of 12% by the end of 2025. The region is on the path of intensive industrial development, with a particular focus on the food industry. A significant increase is also observed in the production of building materials, the volume of which has increased by almost one and a half times. Important successes have been achieved in the Issyk-Ata district, thanks to the support of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

Artem Novikov emphasized that the fund is one of the main partners of the government in implementing the country's economic growth program.
“The main task of the fund is to support the Chuy region in implementing large initiatives. During its operation, the RKDF has financed 727 projects totaling 335 million US dollars. The majority of the funding, namely 51%, is directed towards agro-industrial processing, as well as the development of industry and the production of building materials, which now fully meet the needs of the republic through local production. 66% of all funded projects have been implemented over the past five years,” noted Novikov.
