The introduction of the electronic queue has become necessary due to the emergence of serious traffic jams at the border, where the length of queues sometimes reached 25 km. This situation negatively affected the road infrastructure and ecology in the area of Lake Chatyr-Kul.
The new system allows for the advance registration of freight trucks and the formation of a clear electronic queue. Vehicles are placed in a special waiting area called "Kara-Bulak," from where they are gradually directed to the checkpoint according to an established order. This system ensures:
- the avoidance of vehicle congestion at the checkpoint;
- the reduction of load on access roads;
- the even distribution of the flow of freight trucks;
- the enhancement of transparency and predictability in crossing the border.

“The implementation of such infrastructure and digital initiatives is a key step in modernizing Kyrgyzstan's border points and contributes to improving the functioning of the state border, developing foreign economic activity, and enhancing the country's transit potential,” emphasized the press service of the State Customs Infrastructure JSC.
